About the role and who we are looking for:

We are looking for Casual Kitchen Hands to work at our kitchen at North Shore Hospital in Auckland. Hours of work are as and when required hence ideal if you are looking for flexibility with work and get that extra family time.

So, what will you be expected to do??

• You will be responsible for assisting with food and sandwich preparation
• Ensure that all requests are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
• Assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties.

If you're our perfect candidate

You will have experience in a similar role as a kitchen Assistant and be highly motivated, reliable and honest, with high standards in personal presentation. You will be a multitasker, organised, hardworking, with a friendly, helpful and smiling outgoing personality.

Ideally you will already have some experience working in a commercial kitchen and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to be train for one. Some dietary knowledge and computer skills would be an advantage. You will have superior customer service skills but, most importantly, you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.

You must be able to satisfactorily pass a police clearance.
