The role:

We are looking for casual Kitchen Assistants to produced healthy, daily school packed lunches for Year 1 to 8 (primary and intermediate aged) students in local schools. Hours of work are on an as and when required basis.

Our operation is a 5-day week operation with late evening/early morning shifts with production being overnight/early morning for delivery the same day.

The great things you'll do:

In this position you will be responsible for the creation of lunches, including sandwich and salad making, lunch pack assembly and following our Food Control Plan and Allergen Management processes.

Health and Safety is our number 1 rule, you will be an advocate for safety in the work place.

Our perfect candidate will have:

A minimum of a year's experience in a similar role with the basic food prep skills in a commercial kitchen setting

Great organisational and time management skills

A good understanding of Allergen and Food Control Plan management

Excellent communication skills with a friendly outgoing personality

Baking skills as advantageous

Passion to produce great food for our next generation
