What are we looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to work at Massey University, Manawatu. This is a permanent, part-time role with a minimum of 15 hours per week. Hours of work are Saturday & Sunday 08:30 - 16:00 with 30mins break each day.

The great things you'll do:

In this position you will be responsible for basic food preparation, sandwich making, providing superb customer service, serving meals, stock control and assisting in general kitchen and cleaning duties.

Skills and experience you will bring with you:

If you're our perfect candidate you will have good communication skills, be well presented, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. Ideally you will already have some experience working in a commercial kitchen, hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) (or be happy to train for one). You will have superior customer service skills but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
