Job Description

As Key Account Manager you will be accountable for the Microsoft PC & Gaming categories at a strategic retail partner in the Benelux. You will join a highly motivated and successful team driven by energy, passion and fun.

In Consumer Channel Sales & Marketing (CCSM) our purpose is to create value with our retail partners, to market and to sell innovative consumer solutions like Windows, Surface, Microsoft 365 and Xbox.

Our team works with retail partners to drive digital excellence, deliver the best in-store execution and to accelerate cloud and subscription adoption. Together, we win by creating Microsoft fans for life for our hardware and software products.

 

You will build and manage joint business plans, design online & in-store marketing activities, manage key stakeholder relationships (at the partner and within our EMEA team) and drive transformation.

You will report to the Consumer Sales Lead for Benelux.

Responsibilities

  • Develop deep understanding of the retailer’s strategy, objectives and profitability drivers
  • Identify key focus areas to create actionable & impactful account plans in close alignment with the retailer
  • Develop strategies to compete and win share for our products & services with our partner by ensuring the right assortment, availability, traffic and conversion
  • Drive consistent execution in close collaboration with the category & channel marketing teams. Use results to learn from execution successes and failures
  • Support and develop our partners through the digital transformation journey to ensure omni-channel presence and growth
  • Drive and land regular account performance reviews internally and with the partner
  • Secure high levels of partner satisfaction through timely issue resolution and process optimization  
  • Demonstrate creativity and entrepreneurial behaviour
  • Share, learn and implement best practices from and with other teams in EMEA

Qualifications

  • University/college degree
  • Passion for technology and its rapid change
  • Understanding of the digital and physical buying journey
  • Ability to building strategic relationships with senior account executives at CxO level
  • Capable of analyzing sales data, drawing relevant conclusions, developing accurate business plans and forecasts
  • Self-starter and being able to work autonomously
  • Energetic, growth mindset and flexible
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
