 Mō te tÅ«nga | The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Analyst Developer to join our Christchurch Digital Business Services - Statistics DevOps team. In this role you will:

  • Lead or participate in the design, development, documentation, quality management, and testing of solutions
  • Lead the growth of technical depth across the team while leading or participating in the creation of roadmaps for digital solutions
  • Mentor others in the team to enable them to take a lead role on small or medium complex solutions
  • Enhance team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions and answering technical and procedural questions
  • Provide support and ongoing optimisation of solutions already in production
  • Engage with our business to understand their needs and requirements providing analysis and insights accordingly
  • Continually expand your technical and organisational knowledge.

Starting salary: $ 89K - $110k dependent upon skills and experience

 

Mōu | About you

You are a senior C#.Net Developer with the following experience:

  • Technical leadership, coaching and supporting your colleagues
  • C#.Net, Java, Microsoft SQL server, Javascript
  • Azure, DevOps, CI/CD
  • Scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python
  • Test Driven Development and Business Driven Development
  • Business Analysis skills to understand the problem and the business need
  • Security monitoring and reporting
  • Ability to pick up new technologies quickly
  • Security minded

You should have knowledge/familiarity or a commitment to learning/understanding Te Ao Māori, in order to understand and contribute meaningful work and outcomes for Māori communities.
