Our Midlands based client are looking for a Junior Developer to join their team. As a Junior Developer you will be part of a highly skilled team developing solutions as they transition their computing platforms to the latest cloud technologies in order to support a rapidly growing business. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in learning and working with the latest technologies in dynamic environment with high volume event driven architecture to develop resilient and scalable solutions.

  Key Accountabilities  

Learn the codebase and improve your development skills

Follow the team’s coding standards and development principles

Collaborate effectively with colleagues to design and develop innovative solutions

Maintain and support existing applications

Work within a fast paced agile environment

Invest in your knowledge portfolio to gain Microsoft certification in the latest web or Azure technologies to maintain our partner status. We are happy to give our staff time to study and to pay for the exams and training materials.

Proactively recommend improvements to existing software solutions

You will need Experience of the following:

Basic programming experience with C#

Microsoft Azure (desirable)

Understanding of git and SCM

Any Asynchronous Messaging infrastructure (desirable)

Any JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React

Knowledge of databases and SQL
