Due to exciting global business growth, we are in need of a talented and enthusiastic Junior Software Developer to join our team in the coastal town of Ahuriri, Napier.  

Re-Leased is pioneering the future of Commercial Real Estate (CRE). Our cloud-based commercial property management software is designed to specifically meet the needs of commercial property owners and property managers to fight against old school thinking and to create an Ecosystem based on seamless integrations and thought leadership.

Your Role

As an Junior Software Developer in our Napier office, you will play a key role in the Development Team; designing, developing, modifying, managing bugs, documenting and deploying complex software to the highest level of quality. You will be passionate about working with sophisticated software, have an ability to think on your feet to identify new technical opportunities and execute projects with support from your Squad. 

Your Responsibilities

• Write and maintain code to system requirements and technical specifications meeting quality standards
• Provide support with diagnosing and correcting complex production issues
• Testing to ensure all work meets team quality standards 
• Identify technology limitations in current application and code
• Peer programming with more senior developers
• Initiative to debug, fix and improve existing code 

Your Experience

• Experience with .NET 4.0/4.5 in C#, or a similar tech stack
• Skills to design and build great web applications with HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript
• An ability to write beautiful code that runs quickly and robustly - and initiative to debug, fix and improve existing code
• A flair for developing excellent user interface and experience
• A desire to work in a busy, fast-paced, dynamic environment with a great team
• Bonus points for experience with technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Docker, Redis, Cosmos DB
