Role Responsibility

• Working as a lead member of our running team to manage the logistics required for each location, including buying supplies for location, keeping inventory of the store room, checking and packing filming equipment.
• Assisting with contributor pre-selection from Online submissions, which includes calling contributors and finding out about their items.
• Monitoring the Roadshow inbox, responding to inquiries and referring up where necessary.
• Researching our venues and helping generate story ideas for our inserts and games.
• Once filming begins on our fast-moving UK wide Roadshow events, you will then join the production on location where you will offer research support as well fulfilling a Runner role, assisting camera teams and working with contributors. This will involve working with a Producer on our presenter-led filming, creating engaging content from each of our venues.
• There is also an opportunity to be involved in our social media output – we are hoping to generate additional content for us on our social media platforms (twitter, Instagram, Facebook). An interest or experience in photography and/or filming and editing online content would be very valuable.

The Ideal Candidate

• A real interest in factual TV production and be keen to take on a varied and busy role in production
• Great organisation and communication skills
• An interest in history, arts or antiques would be highly advantageous
• Social media or photography experience
