Robert Half is hiring for a Jr. DevOps Engineer for our Client. As the successful candidate you will be accountable to leverage your technical knowledge and skill to tackle challenges and ensure the clients software works across a diverse set of operating systems and platforms. This role is based in the Calgary, Alberta area but has the flexibility for remote work/work from home permissions for eligible Candidates within Canada.

Requirements

MUST HAVES:

• 2+ years in a similar role with experience in the design, development, release cycle, and delivering of software products.
• Excellent ability and experience with deployment and maintenance in a development team environment
• Experience in CI/CD systems, Python, Terraform, Java or JavaScript
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent

NICE TO HAVE:

• Certificate in Amazon Web Services (AWS) is an asset
• Working experience with Kubernetes is an asset
