About the Role

• Contribute to the creation of advanced lamp product designs
• Produce technical documentation in 2D and 3D
• Conduct development testing and design simulations
• Learn the process for developing highly regulated products
• Sourcing and integrating specialist materials
• Assemble prototype products
• Test and evaluate design performance

Skills & Experience

• An interest in engineering and development
• Degree qualified in engineering / science/ mechanical /mechatronics or similar discipline
• Experience and training of CAD tools like NX, AutoCAD or Solidworks.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English
• Knowledge of materials technology
• An understanding of design requirements using industry standards
• Strong knowledge of mathematics and physics
• Experience evaluating designs, problem solving and interpreting results
• An understanding of product development in all phases (acquisition / concept thru production)

• Experience using hand tools in a workshop environment
