Job Description

Role Responsibility

We’re looking for an experienced multi-platform Journalist to join us and be part of the team that leads on the Spanish bulletins and delivers high quality tailored news for young audiences in Latin America.

All team members are expected to write, produce and read bulletins on air.

You’ll be an excellent writer, with sound editorial judgement and the ability to make sense of complicated stories under pressure. We’re looking for people who want to make the big global events unfolding accessible to young people everywhere, and go beyond the mainstream news agenda to look for the stories that really matter to our audiences.

This role requires sound editorial judgement as well as creative writing and presentation skills.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

  • Significant journalistic experience in either Digital, Radio or TV.
  • A very good understanding of the needs and interests of younger audiences around the world.
  • First class writing skills in contemporary Spanish, and the ability to write in a style suited to young audiences.
  • Some audio editing experience
  • Excellent knowledge of international news, sport, current affairs and social affairs, with an interest in Latin America
