What we're looking for:

NIWA is looking for a seasoned IT Solutions Delivery Manager to join the IT Management Team. We require an IT Solutions Delivery Manager who has a broad range of skills that can be applied across our environments - Microsoft, Linux, VMware, Cloud, containers, science systems and databases. You will be working closely with IT and Science project teams to ensure smooth IT project delivery to both internal and external customers.

What you will bring:

Your ability to be an effective communicator and driver of business change is essential to ensuring successful IT solutions delivery across NIWA. A strong track record of IT project delivery is essential, as is the management of multiple team leaders who provide specialist expertise within their delivery teams. Experience with project management, delivery frameworks, and Information Management is advantageous.

Just as important as your technology skills is your ability to fit into an established team of talented managers. You will need to bring a level of maturity gained from your experience but also the flexibility that will see you working on a wide array of deliverables across the business.
