IT Project Manager - Project Delivery - Salesforce - Job Description

• IT project manager looking for a ladder into a multi-million-dollar annual program
• This individual must understand SDLC and Agile, Hybrid delivery methodologies to apply accordingly and drive deliverables to completion
• Must be self-managing
• Understand release management framework (including DevOps), ensuring the necessary controls, processes, and communications are in place and know when it is not
• Partner with the Scrum Master to align Sprints to expected delivery timelines
• Manage and prioritize engineering tasks (not related to stories) through the utilization of MS Project, JIRA, and Confluence tools
• Managing requirements gathering process partnering with Business Analyst or Business System Analyst to trace requirements through to testing
• Challenge test strategy and plans to ensure coverage (including test data strategy)
• Work with Engineers to understand their needs and translate that to actionable tasks, i.e., coordinate with other tech teams
• Must have a comprehensive understanding of the technical environment to assess operational risk associated with the various solution and implementation options
• Facilitate and challenge the most cost-effective and efficient solutions (assess against business case and time to deliver)
• Responsible for ensuring the right resources are assigned to initiatives/requirements are executing (ability to challenge technical resources required)
• Must have exposure to projects/programs related to data centres, high - availability systems, capacity planning, system performance evaluation, and diagnostic techniques and methodologies
• Experienced with managing development projects involving technologies such as Java stack, ETL, API, Batch Processes to validate/challenge approach to delivery and testing (outcome to identify gaps)
• Able to produce an integrated delivery plan to incorporate non-sprint activities, including gating and governance controls
• Able to drive operational readiness and release management processes

• 5+ years experience delivering complex projects
• 7-8+ years of experience with technology platforms
• 8+ years experience managing technology projects (agile, rapid iterative, hybrid methodologies) through to deployment to end
• Experienced with ITIL
• PMP Certification
• Communication: Must be able to translate complex technical terms into an understandable business language (written and verbally to communicate to business sponsors)
• Accountable for accurate weekly status reports that reflect both business and technology position
• Must be able to synthesize the critical information during issue/ risk escalation and articulate impact assessment within triple constraints
• Facilitation: Strong facilitation skills are required to broker between technology teams, including external vendor suppliers
• Must be able to call meetings by identifying the right people to triage issues
• Must be able to listen to project member concerns and triage the problem to bring teams together promptly to resolve
• Must be able to assign deliverables to owners ensuring outcomes are achieved
• Financials: Must be able to provide an accurate lens to project financials (spend to business case) working with PCO
• Must be able to narrate and provide insights on program health
• Must be able to model financial scenarios anticipating changes that are occurring in the project to give advice and insights to Program Leadership
• Resource Capacity Management: Must be able to model resource capacity/funnel to identify the impact on delivery schedule
• Must be able to forecast across technology groups to provide
• Must be able to work with Scrum Master to understand the impact of velocity/burndown against capacity and schedule to present findings to Program Leadership
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Must have a thorough understanding of SDLC and PDLC (Product) - ensuring the project adheres to methodology fundamentals
