Job Description

Robert Half is recruiting now for an experienced IT/IS Support Specialist to fulfill a role for our Calgary Client. As the successful Candidate you will assist users by providing installation maintenance and technical support across the company (hardware, software, systems, networks etc.) in an ever-changing, active Microsoft Server environment. If you are someone who excels at responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests and you have strong problem-solving skills with a passion for making effective change within an organization, this may be the role for you! This role is located in Calgary, AB.

Requirements

MUST HAVES:

  • 3 + years of proven working experience in a similar role with a strong background in a Microsoft server environment
  • Proven working success with Microsoft Windows desktop and application support methodologies and shared networking responsibilities in mid to large size organizations
  • Solid working ability with MS Stack, O365, Azure, Cisco Meraki & ability to work w/ MS apps
  • Strong knowledge and ability with Windows Server, Exchange and SQL
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in creating deployment scripts
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills along with solid skills in verbal and written communication
  • Background in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications
  • Foundational knowledge and background in cyber security
  • An enquiring mind with the ability to think outside the box and search for answers.
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be highly organized with great attention to detail and providing quality customer service
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, or related Field or equivalent experience/education
  • Cyber security certification
