As the successful Candidate you will be entrusted with providing effective strategic oversight and operational leadership, digital transformation and related information and technology needs. You will be accountable for outlining strategic roadmaps for the organization, researching and planning for implementation of the most recent technologies in the industry and successfully leading, managing, and coaching the team to obtain strategic objectives.  This role is located in Edmonton, AB., and is open to hybrid work concessions (work from office/work from home) for eligible Candidates.

Requirements

MUST HAVES:

• 7 + years or more in an IT Director role with proven success in the supervision of technical personnel and strategic business or IT transformation, process redesign, system optimization
• Proficient working experience in high level business settings in analysis, IT strategy, planning, business alignment and enablement
• Excellent leadership skills and aptitude to work in a hands-on environment to support and mentor growing team
• Strong business acumen in order to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope out technical requirements combined with sound business judgment
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills in order to provide support and mentorship to others within IT and the leadership team on complex issues to achieve effective stakeholder relations
• Post-secondary education in related field
