TfNSW’s IT group provides the tools, information and services that enable 30,000 employees to deliver a smart and efficient transport network. We bring the future to our people by delivering innovative solutions and minimising business disruptions, building an engaged and connected workforce through tech-enablement. This is an exciting time to join the team, with a committed annual investment of $700m for progressive technology projects including bots, apps, AI solutions, autonomous 3D mapping drones, cybersecurity and transforming cameras across our network.
The opportunity
Right now, we have an opportunity for at least 2 Cyber Defence Change Managers to join our Transport Cyber Defence Portfolio team on a fixed term contract. You will be responsible for assuring business readiness of impacted stakeholders by leading the change management delivery, taking a structured approach to delivering change, identifying business impacts, agreeing business readiness action plans, developing and executing activities in line with the change management plan.
Your Key accountabilities are:
Working closely with the project team and business owners, identifying stakeholders and business impacts, developing and executing the change management plans.
Monitoring and assessing the environment at different stages of change; developing and modifying the change management plan to meet the needs and address barriers and resistance to change.
Working with the business to successfully transition project deliverables into business as usual.

About you
You are an experienced Change Manager that has ideally developed and led change management activities for cyber projects or alternatively IT projects. You have a strong interest in cyber security with a curiosity to learn and keep yourself updated with new developments in cyber security and related domains. You will be a critical thinker and have experience turning complex, technical concepts into information that is easy and appealing to digest.
You will be skilled in operating autonomously, a team player who is able to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, have an entrepreneurial spirit taking charge of your projects, being resourceful and a natural leader, demonstrate a great work ethic, feel confident on prioritising issues and will be able to deal with complex matters by liaising with project counterparts to work together on solutions.
Salary and benefits
The salary for this position is a Grade 9A ($138,670) – 9E ($155,309) per annum, plus superannuation and leave loading.
