We are looking to hire a Business Analyst to join our dynamic team to define and maintain business processes and functions to be supported by a range of Harrods applications.
About Us
Harrods’ IT comprises of a broad and tailored offering to support out our luxury store in Knightsbridge, London and our Harrods.com website, as well as our wider Retail, Sales, Buying, Distribution, Fulfilment and Corporate functions. Our IT offering is supported by a mix of in-house technology and 3rd party partnerships, our success if defined by our integrated and united approach to a full IT operation. We are looking to adopt and implement best practices and ways of working to ensure that all our ITIL processes are both effective and efficient.
You will be part of a team responsible for delivering a consistent, clear and detailed set of business requirements for Information Technology projects and programmes, analysing and documenting business requirements for key processes and producing clear, accurate, agreed documentation.
You will develop plans and proposals for the steps to be taken (including technology selection/ development) to realise the business requirements and at the same time develop, support and improve existing standards for Business Analysis processes and deliverables.
About You
As one of our Business Analysts, you will be passionate about business analysis, coupled with the ability to work under pressure and a passion and hunger to continuously improve. You are focused on supporting the delivery of business value, not just within a project lifecycle, but before and after.
To succeed in this role you’ll be an experienced Business Analyst, accustomed to partnering with stakeholders on the full project life-cycle with both structured and agile project environments. You’ll have experience of user experience and information architecture and using relevant tools such as Behaviour Driven Design, Cucumber, Gherkin or equivalent.
With a keen eye for detail you will be able to work effectively and get things done in a dynamic environment whilst managing multiple priorities. You will have excellent analytical and communication skills in both written and oral form. These are essential as you and your team collect, analyse, understand, challenge, champion and communicate the agreed interrelated business requirements for multiple projects across a complex programme of work.
