ISV Program Manager - 122181

The Role:

We have a great opportunity to join and contribute as we continue to grow our team. The candidate who fills this role will be responsible for driving operations and programs for the CG (Computing and Graphics) ISV (Individual Software Vendor) group from planning and budgeting to full deployment.

You will lead multi-functional business and product development teams, aligning all aspects of alliance management, engineering, and operation execution to meet business goals.

This individual will interact with the ISV senior management team, as well as internal multi-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead key areas of ISV operations and day-to-day activities crafting, measuring, reporting, and ensuring delivery against key metrics spanning a broad range of initiatives to include roadmap creation, driving software deliveries, and crafting presentations, etc.
  • Work with ISV business and software teams on monthly tracking and reporting while ensuring that teams have clear input and output metrics mapped to projects that ladder up to broader pivotal initiatives.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to support the growth and operations of the ISV team including working on projects related to alliance management, software development and process improvements.
  • Communication is a crucial part of this role which includes, interpreting/ understanding business directions, driving the team to define and explain tactical details, recommending solutions to resolve complex program issues, defining, planning, and driving project and program plans based on the needs of the business, input from management and senior technical guidance.
  • Own and drive the ISV budget process in partnership with finance counterparts. Ensure that the critical initiatives are funded with clear return on investment and metrics.
  • Possess specialized knowledge plus a broader technical knowledge in areas outside his or her area of expertise.
  • Identify and initiate change to existing processes and methods to improve project and team efficiencies.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience is required in leading complex, interrelated software development projects, programs, and/or functions across a distributed organization.
  • Experience in large scale game software development, plus solid understanding across multiple engineering teams is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with product and technology leaders to drive operational excellence within these teams including driving process improvements to drive specific goals.
  • Strong understanding of technology and product with prior expertise driving both teams to deliver ambitious roadmap plans by being the steward of the process.
  • Possesses a detailed knowledge of the principles or project management and the ability to apply them effectively on small to large size projects.

 

Academic Credentials:

  • BS degree in EE; MS preferred
  • PMP certification a plus
