About The Opportunity

Hoxton Park Community Health Centre is recruiting for a Project Officer to complement and enhance the current Community Health Safer Pathways (PARVAN) Department.

The Integrated Prevention Response Violence and Abuse (IPARVAN) team has an exciting opportunity for a Project worker, Health Services Manager (HSM level 3), to join the dynamic IPARVAN team. This is a wonderful chance to contribute in a key position, working towards integration of PARVAN services across the Local Health District. Experience working in project work is required, with preferred knowledge and understanding of Violence Abuse and Neglect service.

What you'll be doing

The position will provide a leadership, coordination and service development role in the clinical redesign and establishment of PARVAN and will drive the key initiatives and development of new models of care across the full spectrum of service delivery (Acute, Subacute, Primary Care and Community Care). The Project Manager will lead a proactive program of change to improve and support the PARVAN design model in SWSLHD.

How to Apply

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible. * Tertiary qualifications in a health related discipline or significant experience in project management preferably in a health and/or community services environment.

Demonstrated skills, knowledge & experience in all aspects of project management with a sound knowledge of the Health System, preferably with relevant experience in violence, abuse and neglect.

Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders including, senior executive, clinicians, Primary Care Providers.

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, with the capacity to contribute positively to a broader project team and manage project staff work flows.

Demonstrated capacity to manage complex health-related projects, including project planning, financial monitoring, and project evaluation and reporting.

Demonstrated high level written and oral communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Computer literacy including Word, Power Point, Outlook and Excel.

Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
