IoT Partner Manager

At Vodafone Group Business we believe in making IoT simple, by bringing together exactly the right mix of partners to ensure that every element of a project works smoothly over our global network. We offer a wide range of end-to-end solutions across a broad range of sectors, including Automotive, Consumer Electronics, Retail and Banking.


As our IoT Partner Manager you will identify and acquire new IoT contracts by selling through or with our UK Partners (Either Resellers, Agents or Dealers). 
You will enhance revenue growth by selling a range of products and services that include the IoT Global Platform, Connectivity (local or global) and IoT Solutions (Vodafone or Partner). 


You will develop a good industry understanding, including  of partner needs, as well as the end customer and market need. You’ll become expert on  IoT products, the IoT market and our vertical markets 


You’ll collaborate closely with key partners (such as Wireless Logic) to deliver ongoing growth of connections, revenue and retention 

What will you do?
•    Achieve sales target that includes Total Contract Value and Incremental Revenue 
•    Work with functional teams to develop appropriate tariffs, marketing and solutions to satisfy prospective partner and end customer needs 
•    Cultivate the relationship with partners to ensure business is grown and retained with Vodafone 
•    Recruit new channel partners and ensure they are all on-boarded successfully to sell IOT products well 
•    Build a strong indirect sales pipeline 
•    Effective team management - .  Performance dialogue processes completed as required and team development managed proactively.  Proactive contribution to  Management Team 

 


Who are we looking for?
•    Sales and deal negotiation track record 
•    Telecoms technologies and IoT knowledge and experience 
•    A good understanding of data usage profiling and indirect channel sales models 
•    Experienced at C Level engagement 
•    Communication, Negotiation and Presentation skills
