Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for an Inventory Controller to provide support to senior management and consulting services to our valued customer. As a key team member on-site you will apply your inventory management and operational planning skills to provide unique insights and cost-effective solutions in a high speed FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all inventory on site is accounted for and stored correctly physically and logically at all times
• Promote and maintain a culture of health and safety ensuring standards are met.
• Monitor KPIs for Quality and Inventory transaction integrity on site and provide feedback to operations
• Review, analyse and develop action plans for any defects that are identified
• Develop and execute daily, weekly and monthly action plans that increase quality, inventory accuracy and service 
• Manage a site-based Inventory Control/Quality Assurance Programme

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience working in an FMCG warehouse, preferably 3PL will be highly regarded
• Accuracy and high attention to detail is essential
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Effective time management skills and self-discipline
• Ability to identify and remedy operational inefficiencies and service problems
• Be a team player and lead a team to meet the set objectives/targets
