Overview of the role

We are offering a fantastic internship within Garrison’s Marketing team – we are seeking an ambitious and hardworking individual looking for hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skill set within a unique and highly innovative company.

You will work closely with the wider Marketing team, gaining valuable skills and experience in negotiation, planning and relationship management.

As a steadily growing and agile company there is plenty of room for personal development and you will receive the support you need to evolve your skill set. You will receive ample guidance for new tasks, but day-to-day we are autonomous, organized and proactive.

Key Responsibilities

• Support of marketing team with general administrative and logistical tasks.
• Supporting reporting for marketing/event performance, and prep of visualised data for senior reporting purposes.
• Provide logistical assistance associated with attending events of all sizes.
• Negotiating with vendors and suppliers, liaising with organisers and coordinating event registration activities.
• Ensuring that all demo equipment and marketing materials are shipped to and from events.
• Arrange travel logistics including flights, car rentals and hotel accommodations for attendees.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

• Keen interest in the tech and/or cybersecurity industries.
• Able to multi-task and collaborate with multiple teams effectively.
• Pro-active and able to work well independently as well as part of a wider team.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive, pragmatic, with strong time management skills.
• Ideally skills with Photoshop, Excel, PowerPoint, VB, etc then this would be beneficial, but certainly not essential.
