What we are looking for:

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong design and project management experience, favourably within the food retail industry. You will be a self-driven and proactive individual who is able to provide innovative solutions within a challenging environment.

Selection Criteria:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in store format development and/or store design
• Experience within the food retail industry is highly regarded
• Demonstrated experience taking design projects from concept to completion (greenfield projects)
• Proven experience managing national or international (preferred) store format roll outs
• Experience developing fixtures, fittings and equipment as part of format development
• Basic proficiency using Revit, Solidworks, AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite highly regarded
• Flexibility to work across multiple time zones
• Strong people leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders
• Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
• Strong problem solving ability with the ability to develop innovative solutions
• Proven commercial and business acumen

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage international store design project from creation to completion
• Liaise with design agencies and multiple internal stakeholders to drive project execution
• Monitor and ensure project milestones are met in accordance with deadlines
• Establish and maintain design manuals and retail guidelines
• Develop fixtures, fittings and equipment as part of format development
• Collaborate and align with international procurement arm
• Propose innovative solutions to project roadblocks or inefficiencies
• Present recommendations and key business updates accordingly
• Successfully deliver and implement approved store design internationally
