The Opportunity
Based in the small, happy Upper Hutt head office, this is an incredible opportunity for a highly motivated candidate looking for the ultimate way to progress their career in a role offering responsibility and variety. This job combines the perfect blend of customer service, sales support, pricing, administration and logistics / supply chain duties. As the first point of contact for customers over the phone and via email communications, your mission will be to deliver unequalled customer support ensuring customer needs are met to the highest standard, while also supporting the external sales team and wider business with all customer service and sales support requirements. On a daily basis you'll be providing Internal Sales support for the Key Account and Product Managers, liaising on sales activities, working with the wider sales team to establish product solutions and completing quotes, and coordinating with customers and the sales team to plan and implement the supply of product to meet customer needs. Important components of this role also include assisting with inventory management (maintaining stock & inventory information within SAP), maintaining customer information, accounts payable and building product knowledge.
Skills & Experience
To secure this position, you will need a CV that clearly demonstrates previous NZ based work experience delivering sales support, customer service, order processing & quoting, and data management relative to stock inventory and customer information. You will have experience working within ERP systems, ideally SAP. You’ll be someone who enjoys multi-tasking and problem solving to ensure that “things happenâ€, and you’ll be comfortable working with a technical product range. Strong customer service skills, an eye for detail and the ability to be thorough are a must. Great admin skills, an exceptional “can do†attitude and a natural desire to perform at your best are vital. Because you’ll work with people across the business as well as interact with valuable customers, excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. You must have a good understanding of Excel, Word and Outlook.
