A career within Operations, will provide the opportunity to support our engagement teams and clients operationally by providing advice on accounting, financial reporting, and strategic business issues. In joining, you’ll help ensure a complete and relevant exchange of information among our consultants and in turn with engagement teams, provide experts advice on a variety of specific topics, support engagement teams in resolving complex issues, You’ll develop strong relationships with our leaders and engagement teams.

As a part of our team, you’ll help assist business unit leaders and engagement teams in the areas of global resource management, learning and development, human capital, reporting, technology and innovation, and quality and compliance.

What you’ll create and do

 As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work directly with Business Unit (BU) leaders and Consulting Operations team to grow Acceleration Center (AC) teams (offshore and London Acceleration Center)

  • Oversight of the filling of requests for project related and dedicated team members

  • Work with business leaders to ensure all risk processes related to AC clients and engagements are completed

  • Tracking and resolution of issues at the ACs

  • Monthly reporting including:  

    -Number of team members
    -Utilization and forecasted utilization
    -Actual hours by Business Unit / plan

  • Update operational procedures

  • Review and approve invoices related to bench time for dedicated team

  • Recommend improvements for dashboards and Phoenix tools and processes

  • Run monthly meetings with AC champions from the BUs

  • Create annual plans and quarterly rolling forecasts for AC usage 

What you’ll bring to this role

  • An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work

  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard

  • Demonstrated strong technical skills in Google Suite

  • Exposure working with Data analytics tools e.g. Excel, VBA, PowerPivot, Google suite of tools, Alteryx, PowerBi, Tableau Prep considered an asset

  • Ability to provide visualization and transform data in an informative way

  • Proven ability to carry out multiple tasks in a dynamic and constantly changing environment

  • Confident to negotiate and influence effectively, with an ability to challenge in a constructive manner

  • Proven ability to document processes and controls, develop and execute presentations, assess operating effectiveness, and to provide recommendations for improvements

  • Considerable experience with data analytics and budgeting

  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Functional understanding of PwC Advisory and our operating model

  • Exceptional commitment to providing excellent client service, by building and maintaining productive relationships 

  • Excellent oral and verbal communication skills
