To be successful you will need:

• PhD or equivalent degree / experience in the field of ruminant productivity, reproductive or stress physiology.
• Demonstrated research excellence in ruminant productivity and/or livestock resilience including a publication record in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
• Demonstrated ability to attract HERDC eligible research funding, as evidenced by being a named investigator on successful grants / projects.
• Strong organisational, time management, intercultural and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to lead research projects.
• Commitment to working with and communicating research results to livestock producers coupled with a strong knowledge of livestock production systems.
