The Intern is responsible for managing the care of all patients allocated to the clinical unit or department to which the Intern is undertaking a clinical attachment. All aspects of patient care are to be conducted in consultation with the responsible Registrars, Consultants, Visiting Specialists, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals. The Intern is required to actively contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement activities and participate in continuous Clinical Education activities.
Bachelor of Medicine or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia with Provisional/Limited Registration as an Intern.
