Additional high-level accountabilities include:

• Enabling a high-performance team culture by fostering an environment of diversity, inclusion, engagement, and collaboration both within the Talent Acquisition team and more broadly across the BBC.
• Setting and monitoring the performance of all functional areas and teams in Talent Acquisition against key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement in ways of working while remaining in budget.
• Positioning the BBC as an employer of choice in the external market, enabling the BBC to attract the future skills and capabilities to deliver the BBC’s Strategic Priorities while also supporting the development and promotion of talent already in the organisation.
• Being a visible member of the People and Organisational Development senior management team, actively contributing to the wider People and Organisational Development strategy and goals as appropriate.
• Building relationships and forming alliances with external counterparts, communities of practice and stakeholders to keep informed of external trends and best practice and to scan for innovations and opportunities to form partnerships.
• Being an ambassador for the function and represent the BBC Talent Acquisition activity internally and externally.
