About the role

Applications are sought for the position of Intelligence Support Officer (ISO) based in the Scanning and Targeting Team, Tamaki Makaurau Intelligence at Piki Ki Te Ao, 482 Great South Road, Otahuhu.

This as an opportunity to work as part of a team whose purpose is to, ‘Lead environmental scanning and subject targeting by identifying risk and opportunities to inform and enable decision makers to deliver on Our Business.'

You will be exposed to a range of intelligence and administrative functions to support your immediate team, Tāmaki Makaurau Intelligence as well as the wider organisation at various levels.

Key Accountabilities:

• Daily administrative functions of critical documents and processes.
• Regular scanning through available channels into the public sentiment for notable events and potential risks to districts and the organisation.
• Assessing information gathered to identify opportunities for further development either within the team or other workgroups.
• Provide support to operations and areas by completing relevant intelligence products as and when required.

What you'll need for the role

• The ability to demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, navigating NIA are important.
• Prior knowledge or experience with supporting applications such as MAPS and Business Objects would be advantageous.
• The ability to work well under pressure while sometimes meeting short deadlines and continuing to maintain a high standard of work.
• Ability to contribute to a positive team culture under PHPF.
