What you’ll do

• Produce practical insights using People and Organisational data that will help shape People Strategy, drive leadership and aid decision-making within Sky

• Work with stakeholders, and other users of people data, providing expert views on trends, forecasts and people centric issues informed by data

• Efficiently visualise and present data-driven insights to stakeholders, using the right techniques to decode complex data structures into consumable insight

• Address ad-hoc analytics requests creatively while also taking into consideration, the efficiency, sustainability, and client self-service capability

• Advise on Diversity and Inclusion strategy within the organisation by deriving insights from data and using external market trends, which will help increase diversity among people at Sky

• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and be comfortable with producing insights across all key areas of responsibility

• Work in partnership with our stakeholders to achieve a common goal, which addresses the needs of the business and ensure that the output can be translated into decisions/benefits

• Ability to work in close partnership with highly talented colleagues from across the business on insight and decision support on a wide range of pivotal initiatives

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects and providing timely follow-up and resolution

• Bring to the role a level of knowledge, expertise and industry practices that can be applied to Insight projects to ensure that stakeholders find real value in the service. Help shape the view in HR that People Insight is a best-in-class Centre of Excellence

What you’ll bring

• Strong analytical experience working with complex and confidential data sets

• knowledge of SQL and programming languages like Python, R

• Expertise in business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Power Pivot)

• Experience processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis

• Proficiency with various tools and applications for analysis and visualization of data

• The versatility and willingness to learn new technologies on the job

• The ability to clearly communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiences

• It would be desirable to have experience in Workday Reporting system and Prism

• Superb communication skills and enjoys collaborating with people who possess a diverse set of talents

• The ability to thrive in environments, a self-starter with multiple cross-functional stakeholders with differing priorities

• Excellent quantitative, written, and presentation skills, innovative, organized, thorough and eagerness to further develop these skills

Your office space: Osterley

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
