Are you a Refrigeration Project Manager looking for a new challenge?

We are seeking a Project Manager experienced in Refrigeration installations to lead the delivery and execution of our portfolio of Industrial Refrigeration (IREF) projects. As part of a small but growing team covering projects across the UK, you will have to deliver complex projects nationally. As an IREF Project Manager you will act as the primary on-site leader for multi-disciplined engineering execution teams across a wide portfolio of engineered solutions, leading all aspects of the execution phase of a project from sales handover through to final completion. A key responsibility for site Health and Safety performance of all project work and subcontract liabilities.

How you will do it

You will be responsible for the overall profitable execution of projects, you will project a sound knowledge handling the financials, all legal requirements, technology, and people. You will take on main contractor duties and handle the selection, ordering, warehousing, and logistics of materials. Drive project meetings whilst analyzing, auditing engineers' contracts and standard compliance.

During the project, you will develop and build customer, consultant and subcontractor relationships. Promote a culture of doing business in line with Johnson Controls ethical standards and applicable laws. Prepare and deliver clear performance expectations, performance reviews, and development plans with all parties, both internal and external.

What we look for

• Project Manager experience in the engineering industry
• Knowledge of commercial /industrial refrigeration systems
• Contract Management experience
• Ideal qualifications are IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH National General Certificate, Prince 2, City and Guilds 1&2 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
• Working knowledge of Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR) and BS EN378
• Understanding of legislation and compliance requirements for ammonia & CO2 refrigeration systems and equipment
• Demonstrable knowledge of CDM Regulations and managing Health & Safety on site
• Ability to read and understand P&ID drawings and schematics
• Ability to manage and influence both internal & external stakeholders at all levels
• Excellency in verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
