ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is a well established wholesaler in the garment industry. Operating from head office here in Christchurch and supporting a small retail and online arm of the business. A small close knit ‘family’ team of warehouse, office, sales and management team. Being in the garment industry, the year is quite varied with several peaks and troughs keeping everyone on their toes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

A varied and often fast paced role. You'll be managing the international freight movements liaising with suppliers and freight forwarders. Mostly imports, with a small amount of exports. Due to peaks and troughs related to the shipping and airfrieght requirements, you'll have other responsibilities within the business, such as accounts, marketing and general business operations as required.

ABOUT YOU

We're after proactive and resilient candidates, with an attention to detail, adaptability and fantastic time management. Ideally you'll be from a logistics, shipping or freight forwarding background.
