ICT Project Manager
Temporary full-time opportunity until October 2023, Parramatta location
Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $131,094 to $151,609+ super
Our Digital Information Office (DIO) is currently seeking to appoint an ICT Project Manager to manage the day-to-day delivery of digital transformation projects and initiatives.
This is a key role responsible for driving the delivery of key programs of work that support actions from the DIO 2022 Action Plan. Supporting the Director DIO Transformation, the role works closely with key areas within DIO to ensure interdependencies between projects are identified and risks managed. In addition to overseeing a suite of process improvement projects, the role will work closely with the comms and change functions to ensure stakeholders and the leadership teams remains briefed and informed.
About You
The key to success in this exciting new transformation role will be your experience delivering process improvement projects across a complex technology environment, your ICT background and an understanding of service delivery models and methodology, such as SIAM. You will be have a high level of proficiency constructing reporting dashboards and using Microsoft Project or similar project management and tracking tools. Your exceptional communication skills will allow you to present to a wide variety of stakeholders from non-technical audiences to sub-committees and to large internal conferences.
You will be able to understand the bigger picture and take people on the journey of transformation as well as work in collaboration with key project managers and leads. This is a hands-on role and you will need the ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines while ensuring key project milestones are delivered.
Essential requirements
Demonstrated, relevant professional experience using project management methodologies, preferably including a recognised qualification in PRINCE2 and agile methodologies.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience using project management tools (ideally Sharepoint and MS Project).
