This is an exciting opportunity for a GM Business Partner – Senior Analyst, who works alongside the EDF Business Solutions as part of EDF Customers, supporting, challenging and advising on strategic and operational decision-making through insights that drive better business performance.  Specifically, your role sits at the heart of all key decisions impacting I&C gross margin, making a significant positive impact on performance and helping the business to deliver its strategic and financial gross margin targets.  

Your role will support the EDF Business Solutions ambition to help businesses achieve net zero through a range of solutions including supply contracts, PPA (Power Purchase Agreements) and metering and solutions. 

You will build strong working relationships with EDF Business Solutions sales and pricing teams to optimise financial performance and find the right balance between being supportive and providing independent challenge. You will be proactive by bringing insights and ideas to influence business performance and decision making.

In partnership with the business, you will develop challenging but achievable budget and forecasts, as well as plans to deliver them.

We are looking for someone who has experience working with large sets of data and complexed data with a background in finance.

•    Data analytics within Finance systems 
•    Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
•    Strong Excel skills
•    SQL skills would be an advantage 
•    Excellent commercial acumen, ability to assimilate information quickly and interpret the “so what”
•    Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
•    Being able to work both independently and part of a team
