Technical Program Manager

POSITION:

Technical program manager responsible for the planning and logistics of server platform and system engineering projects supporting AMD server IP and customer data center system solutions

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define, plan, and drive schedules for platform/system design, build, and test activities
• Create and drive logistics for system BOM and test equipment (ie. critical components, costing, etc)
• Create, drive and report on team execution metrics
• Drive team documentation targets and schedules
• Track and report team status vs objectives throughout the lifecycle of a project
• Data generation/visualization - Generate & report hardware design and test progress vs targets

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, both written and oral
• High attention to detail and good follow through
• Experience in areas of platform design, build, and validation
• Familiarity with testing tools, methodologies, and defect tracking

EDUCATION:

• 8+ years of experience in high tech industry
• Relevant Bachelor's degree
• Skilled in MS Office & MS Project tool suites, Confluence, MS Sharepoint
