This South Auckland based this organisation is part of a large global manufacturer. They proudly run two manufacturing facilities built with state-of-the-art technology, a team with both expertise and experience, and the finest quality control and product tracking systems.

They are in need of an HR Manager to be sole charge for 75-100FTE across corporate and factory staff managing the day-to-day operations of Human Resources.

Specifically:

• End-to-end recruitment
• On-boarding new staff: contract preparation, inductions
• Employee Relations
• Training: involvement and development of training programs
• Exit strategies
• Union: correspondence with union and union members
• Immigration Employer Accreditation: Maintain employer accreditation status
• Administration and document control
• Health and Safety
• SAP SuccessFactors system to manage employee records
• Payroll: Assist with payroll when required and conduct annual pay reviews for waged staff
• Organisation Development

About you:

• Tertiary degree in Management, Organisational Development or Human Resource Management
• Experience working with HR processes such as Recruitment, Onboarding and maintaining employee files
• At least 3 years’ experience in a Human Resource role • Good knowledge of employment related legislation, principles, and practices in NZ
• Knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety, and wellbeing in the workplace
• Coach others to empower and encourage desirable behaviours
• Positive can-do attitude and love to exceed expectations is a MUST
