Job Description

The role will be responsible for leading the HR agenda, with a key focus on organisational and team effectiveness (which are increasingly key as we move into digital and more agile ways of working), talent management and building future skills and leadership capabilities to ensure our people are fit for the future. As a co-pilot to the business functions being supported, the HRBP role is required to guide leaders with coaching and feedback to support their personal effectiveness and the broader growth and development of the team.  

 

You will also be required to work with other HRBP’s across technology to drive cross-functional global projects, which will involve working with the broader HR & technology leadership team. This may include, amongst others, a range of ongoing Technology transformation programmes such as the broader skills transformation from a HR perspective, our cultural change programme and/or location and insourcing strategy


The main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the leaders in defining, developing and executing local people plans that support the achievement of the business strategy. Ensures that People plans are integrated with wider HR strategy, policies & priorities. 
  • Delivery of the annual people calendar activities within our objectives and strategy 
  • Translating and supporting the delivery of the talent strategy 
  • Driving pipeline of diverse future leaders and accelerates high potential development while driving the Diversity & Inclusion agenda 
  • Building and developing future strategic capabilities for Technology such as solution design and robotics. 

 

 

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Commercially savvy / good depth of business understanding
  • Good breadth of HR experience 
  • Strong relationship & coaching skills; strong communicator
  • Analytical, intellectual capacity to learn very quickly
  • Experience of large matrixed blue chip organisations

Location: Newbury or Paddington 1 day a week.
