Job Description

Job Introduction

Working in HR at the BBC is challenging and highly rewarding. In such a dynamic environment we pride ourselves on being central to the success of the BBC’s mission to be the most creative organisation in the world. We are now looking for an HR Business Partner to support our Chief Operating Officer Group division (circa 4000 employees).

The Divisional HR Business Partner is a generalist and strategic HR role, supported by the broader BBC HR team, including our centres of expertise and in-house shared service centre.  The successful candidate will have a seat at the leadership table, partnering with their client group to define and enable medium to longer term objectives.

Role Responsibility

Working with the Chief Operating Officer group, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and progressive client group partnering with one of our most dynamic divisions, providing expert HR knowledge and insight to support effective strategic and operational decision making.

The successful candidate will also work alongside the Head of HR for the Chief Operating Group on division-wide priorities, influencing the development of business strategy and translating it into a divisional people plan that improves business performance and supports sensitive or high profile HR issues.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have strong experience of partnering with senior management teams in a generalist HR role, with an excellent track record for building strong professional relationships and credibility across all levels of the organisation.

You will also have experience of applying best practice HR within a complex and changing business environment.  In addition, you will have experience of successfully leading a range of business enhancing projects in support of the wider HR strategy.  You also have strong resilience and are able to respond positively to change.

If this sounds like you we'd love to hear from you!
