Your new role
- Assist and take responsibility for the successful delivery of transformation projects within the National Supply Chain Management Department; working efficiently and accurately to ensure that project governance is adhered to.
- Analysing recruitment requirements and interpreting data to assess both current and future resources requirement and liaise with the relevant parties to source the best talent.
- Organisation and delivering training as and when required.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure accurate and engaging training content.
- Responsibility for completion of end-to-end projects within the role, simplifying processes and operations to maximise efficiencies.
- Manage multiple people related logistics projects and tasks; liaising with and managing internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsibility for the processing and tracking of project action points and milestones.
- Use own initiative and suggest ways of improving processes for greater efficiency.
- Ensure correspondence is treated in the strictest confidence when required.
- Manage the efficient and accurate flow of correspondence and information, both incoming and outgoing, with internal and external parties.
- Ensure a clear understanding of current actions, proposing/taking action where appropriate.
- Support the delivery of the department strategy as required.
- Advanced standard of MS Tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project.
- Contribute positively and constructively to the Future Logistics Network Team.
Personal Attributes
- Experience in HR, with a wider commercial awareness for Project Management and Logistics.
- Experience working with, and providing training for logistics teams in an automated warehouse environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues at all levels of the business.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data accurately.
- Organisational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities.
- Innate curiosity; always striving to improve and simplify processes and ensure consistency wherever possible.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to multi-task, be pro-active and work on own initiative, working both in a team and independently.
About You
- Professional work experience in HR, Logistics / Supply Chain Management
- Material handling equipment project experience.
- Management / execution of Employee training, organised, problem solving, computer literate, confident communicator, detail focused, excellent time management, change management
- Proficient in Excel and Word

- Starting salary from £33,035 rising to £38,580.
- 5-day/40-hour week, working Monday- Friday, with the opportunity for remote working 2 days per week.
