Job Description:

  • Greet customers and provide them with excellent customer service.
  • Make sure the front desk is clean, elegant and fully stocked with essentials such as pens, forms and paper.
  • Answer all customer questions and incoming calls.
  • Direct phone calls to the appropriate department and log messages.
  • Accept all correspondence and parcels and distribute them to the appropriate departments. Track, organize, and forward emails.
  • Track and order office equipment and supplies.
  • Keep records and files.
  • Perform all check-in and check-out duties.
  • Manage reservations online and by phone.
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card details.
  • Check-in guests by collecting necessary information (like their contact details and exact dates of stay).
  • Greet guests upon arrival and deliver rooms.
  • Provide information about our hotel, availability, prices and facilities.
  • Respond to customer complaints quickly and professionally.
  • Contact our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully equipped to meet guest needs.
  • Confirm group bookings and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, such as wedding guests.
  • Sell ​​add-ons and services.
  • Maintain records of bookings and payments. 

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or related degree.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar role.
  • Good understanding of office administration and basic accounting practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Solid knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • Experience as a hotel receptionist, receptionist or similar position.
  • An understanding of how travel planning sites such as Booking and TripAdvisor work
  • Customer service attitude.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Diploma in Hotel Management is an advantage.
