In partnership with one of the most admired and creative teams in the cocktail and spirits community, Mary Mary at The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart takes the namesake of Australia’s first private Hospital, St Mary and amplifies it to create a memorable drinking den, cocktail bar, and spirits library. It is a convivial, energetic, and sophisticated space with a modern approach to cocktail mixology, service, food and the appreciation of fine beverages.

The Opportunity

We're now inviting applications from magnetic and experienced Hosts to work in our brand new signature cocktail bar! As the first and last point of contact for guests, we’re looking for engaging hosts who are customer focused and deliver expert, refined service that turns curiosity into transformative experiences.

About You

• Experience working in a similar food and beverage host position
• Genuine passion for food, drink and growth mindset
• Strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills
• Immaculate personal presentation standards and excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with experience with reservation booking platforms preferred.
• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
• Full working rights in Australia
• Willing to be flexible is essential as shifts will include days, evenings, weekends and public holidays
