GI group are looking to recruit 6 porters to work in Hospitals based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. We are looking for six with great attention to detail, good enthusiasm and people with the ability to liaise with people on all levels. All roles will require a DBS before starting.

Key Responsibilities
* The conveyance or movement of patients by wheelchair, trolley or bed.
* Movement of deceased patients to the mortuary.
* Changing of medical gas cylinders as required.
* Escorting of patients and visitors.
* Collection and disposal of refuse, including clinical waste generated by the retained estate.
* To rotate through all pottering duties and departments as required meeting Service delivery requirements.
* Respond to requests within minimum time, enabling the Department to meet its Service Level Agreements with other Trust departments.
* Respond to crash and fire calls and hold the bleep as requested by Supervisors or team leaders.
