Mō te tūnga | About the role

We are looking for part-time 0.7FTE Hospital Aide to join our team at Burwood Hospital.

This position will be based in ward CG - Neurological Adult Rehabilitation

You will have the following skills to be successful in this role:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Fantastic organisation skills and the ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with people from all walks of life
  • You will have a kind and caring nature
  • A strong work ethic is an integral part of this role

The role of a hospital aid varies from day to day but you will be there to make sure that the ward is running smoothly and to its highest potential. This could mean performing a variety of tasks such as:

  • Basic patient care
  • Cleaning and tidying the ward
  • Assisting the nursing team with a variety of tasks on the ward
  • Ensuring that patients have the best experience possible.
