Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role

We are currently looking to welcome a Home Ownership Representative to be the primary point of contact for financial product-related enquiries.

The Financial Products Unit provides unique financial products to help people into home ownership. They provide application assessment, advice, support and guidance to applicants in relation to the home ownership assistance products, including the KiwiSaver Home Start grant, Welcome Home Loan, Kāinga Whenua and First Home.

You will be responsible for identifying customers' needs and providing the appropriate advice/solution in a professional and accurate manner. You will be required to maintain a broad working knowledge of the various financial products offered by Kāinga Ora, and the processes and policies/legislation which support them.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring

  • Experience in a customer service centre, with 2 or more years in a customer-facing role
  • An understanding of the home buying process
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate with a diverse range of people and convey technical information in an understandable manner
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills, coupled with a high degree of cultural awareness
