Whangateau Holiday Park is a tranquil award-winning waterfront Holiday Park and is known for its beautiful white sand of Omaha Beach, fantastic snorkelling and diving in the pristine waters of the Goat Island marine reserve along with the attractions of Point Wells, Leigh, Pakiri and Matheson Bay. We are seeking enthusiastic, and customer focussed person to join our team in a fixed term part time Holiday Park Assistant role working a minimum 24 hours per week with the requirement to work up to 40 hours some weeks in our busy periods. This role will see you working in a unique coastal setting where you will support the team with the day-to-day operation of the park, including welcoming guests, processing online and in-person bookings, supporting with email and phone queries, and a variety of other tasks. You'll be working closely with a welcoming and collaborative team to ensure our guests' have a positive and memorable experience with us.

He kōrero mōu: About you

You will be confident with admin and reception duties and have experience with cash handling as well as an ability to use your initiative to resolve both operational and maintenance issues as they arise.

These roles will have grounds maintenance tasks such grass mowing, strimming, cleaning BBQs, helping with tents, caravans etc, emptying bins, cleaning our facilities so having a good level of fitness and agility is a must. You'll be a naturally friendly person and able to quickly develop empathy with customers, ensuring they have an exceptional experience.

The Park is open 7 days a week including public and school holidays, we are especially busy throughout summer months so having the ability to work flexible hours, evenings, weekend days and additional shifts as required is an advantage.
