Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Support Workers to support a young adult with their complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user lives in Wythenshawe and requires a team to support them 24/7 on a 2:1 basis.

They have an outgoing caring nature and enjoy a good level of banter with their care team.

Their hobbies and interests include watching the TV, especially Netflix, Disney+ and YouTube. They also enjoy watching their care team on the PlayStation; Resident Evil is a particular favourite. They also enjoy realistic art.

Our service user enjoys watching gory horror films, in particularly Saw and has the full collection.

Since returning home from hospital and recovering, they are following a rehabilitation plan that has enabled them to find their voice and talk again, they have also gained back some mobility.

We are looking for committed and like-minded individuals who will support with rehabilitation and help encourage them to become more independent within their limits and support with their recovery.

Essential Experience Required

3 months previous care experience

Medication Administration

Personal Care

Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

Tracheostomy Care

Oral Suctioning

Ventilation Management

Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)

Knowledge / Awareness of rehabilitation care

We have the following shifts available;

Full Time and Part Time

Days - 7am - 7pm

Nights - 7pm - 7am
