Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a gentleman with complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user is a gentleman who requires 24/7 care.
He loves his garden, being outside, spending time on his computer and going out in the community.
He is very family orientated and looks forward to coming together at mealtimes. He especially enjoys meals cooked by his wife.
We are looking for Healthcare Assistants who can get in involved in his interests and help him to enjoy the things he loves.
Throughout the night you will be tending to his personal care, administering medications and carrying out clinical interventions and observations as required.
Our ideal applicant will be a driver with access to a vehicle however, non drivers will be considered given they have reliable transport
Essential Experience Required
3 months previous care experience
Medication Administration
Personal Care
Moving and Handling
Desirable Experience
Spinal Injury Knowledge
Knowledge of Autonomic Dysreflexia
Ventilation Management
Tracheostomy Care
Catheter Care
Driver with access to a vehicle
We have the following shifts available;
Full Time and Part Time
Days - 9am - 9pm / 11am - 7pm
Waking and Sleep in Nights - 9pm - 9am
There is also additional opportunity to pick up extra shifts
