Unique opportunity to manage two small, remote health services - the Wilcannia Multi Purpose Service and White Cliffs Health Service
Work closely with the Royal Flying Doctor Service and Aboriginal organisation Maari Ma
The Wilcannia Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) has a 24-hour 2 bed emergency department and 8 residential aged care beds
White Cliffs operates as a Primary Health Clinic with in hours emergency service and emergency services after hours on call

Selection Criteria
Current nursing registration (as well preferably as a midwife) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Appropriate qualifications in management from Post Graduate to tertiary (Masters level) or working towards same.
Demonstrated leadership skills including conflict resolution, mediation and negotiation, and the ability to motivate, inspire and manage staff to achieve service and professional goals through recognised change management processes.
Proven ability to function effectively as part of a senior management team and to work successfully with other professionals and disciplines in the management of health care services.
Broad clinical experience and operational management expertise at a senior level within a health care environment, including strategic planning, the development, implementation & evaluation of organisational Strategic & Business Plans and Project Management.
Evidence of successful achievement in financial management & the ability to develop financial efficiency strategies and achieve goals.
Demonstrated understanding of the role, function & funding of public hospital within the Australian and NSW Health Systems.
