Public Health Service is looking for a Health Promotion Advisor with a focus on Pasifika Health and Wellbeing to join our Health Promotion team.

As a Health Promotion Advisor, you will codesign, deliver and evaluate health promotion initiatives across the region. Equity will be a strong focus in your work and to deliver projects that are in accordance with health promotion models of health, Pacific models of health and Whakamaua: Māori Health Action Plan 2020-2025.

Key qualities and attributes for this position are:

• Knowledge and working experience within Pacific communities
• Relevant tertiary qualification in health, allied health, community or social services and/or relevant experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how to apply this in your work
• Understanding of the social determinants of health and health inequity
