Job Description

A bit about the job:

Our H&S manager will be assisting corporate service managers with the planning and implementation of all changes to the Aviva H&S policy and procedures. You will also provide expert H&S advice, both written and verbal to support colleagues and be your own First Aid and Fire Marshall strategy for region. You will be the lead for building project works including M&E, refurbishment, construction and you will be accountable for the preparation/checking of risk assessments and method statements for activities held on or off-site with colleagues, suppliers, and contractors.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Excellent understanding of CDM regulations, H&S legislation and Fire Safety regulations
  • A strong team player, Good organisational skills and ability to work independently
  • Experience of building strong and trusted stakeholder relationships at all levels
  • NEBOSH Diploma/ IOSH or equivalent qualification 
  • At least 2 years Health & Safety management experience in a corporate organisation

  • Salary up to £55,000 then depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
